Shram Niketan

 
Education centres  like the Shram Niketan, have been established by Vikas Bharati. This institution also known as“On Job Training School” provides vocational training to orphans and children from Primitive Tribe Groups. (ASUR, BIRIJIA and KORBA) These children stay in a residential arrangement with all basic facilities and are provided academic and non-academic education in the same centre. Vikas Bharti also provides financial and emotional support to these kids. The organization not only empowers them and enables them to stand on their own feet and be independent, but also in some cases succeeds in bringing them out of the doom. Vikas Bharti tries to develop them as a change agent for the society who can work with and for their community. A large number of pass out girls and boys are engaged in self-employment and a source for behavioural change for the community.
